Twilight

So what have I been up to since winter break started three days ago? Hmm.. not much, just reading the Twilight Saga :) I thought I would never find another series of books that would have me up till 5 in the morning (Harry Potter, obviously). Friends told me that the Twilight Saga is considered the Harry Potter rival. Me, being the biggest Harry Potter fan out there, had to assess for myself. I have to admit, it's good :) But good in a different way. Stephanie Meyer (author of twilight) managed to create THE most perfect guy. The guy that every girl wishes, dreams and waits for. It's kind of sad because after reading this book, no guy coucanld ever measure up to him. Edward Cullen, sigh. I'm going to read the last and fourth book starting tomorrow, and I can't wait to find out how it ends... Anyways. just wanted everyone to know about my new obsession, that way if you DON'T know about it yet, you can join the Edward Cullen bandwagon and understand just what the heck I'm talking about :)

People tell me I'm picky, but dang, Stephanie Meyer has made it almost near impossible for me now. Anything short of a beautiful vampire just won't do. =P

FINISHED MY FINALS!!! I'm kinda worried for my grades though. I hate B's.

I think I'm obsessed with CSI. (all three versions)

I'm excited for winter break. I think I kinda overpacked though. wheeeeeeeeeeeeeee. I need to go and catch up on all the CSI episodes I missed cause of finals.

Midterms

It's that time of year again. I took my first midterm of the quarter couple of days ago. I was pretty confident walking into my finance midterm. I was ready to own the financial world! But instead it owned me :( What a terrible start to my supposedly easy quarter....

On a happier note, I got my grades from my summer abroad program! Three A's, baby! Now I get to tell my daddy that his daughter got straight A's in the prestigious college of Cambridge University. =D lol jk..

Oh, and I am officially over my bang phase. After almost 7 weeks of trying to pull off the whole straight bang look, I am finally giving up. It's a lot more annoying to manage and I keep getting crap about it, haha. So, I will stop being so stubborn and just go back to my normal side bangs. Maybe I will try to do the straight bang thing another time when I'm bored with my hair again :)

Speaking of which... should I go back to straight hair?? I've had curly hair for almost a year now... should I keep it curly or go back to my naturally straight hair.....

Badminton

Is the story of my life right now. I don't know if that's a good or bad thing. Ever since I became "captain" of the badminton team, it's been a lot different. The past 2 years I have always been late to practice, a bit selfish, not toooo involved with the team.. I just came out b/c I wanted to play badminton. But now as captain, I have responsibilities. The time and effort I now put into this team has grown exponentially. But I'm not gonna lie, I <3 the team, so I look forward to spending my time with them for the rest of the year. Hopefully we have a fun and successful year - time to kick some booty at nationals - which by the way, I hope is as memorable as last year in Pennsylvania :) ... oh the memories.

On another note, I miss Europe. I miss Spain. and France. and London. But mostly, I miss Cambridge. Cambridge was my home for 8 weeks and I seriously wish that I could go back. I miss my room. I miss my bedder (she'd come once a week to change the sheets/vacuum the room/clean the sink/give clean towels) - it was the good life, haha. Now all I can do for now is look at pictures and reminisce :(. I miss the friends I made. Speaking of which, Cici and I will be visiting norcal very soon to visit friends we met in camb :) Louisa is turning 21, and we cannot miss that! Studying abroad has truly changed my life, and I encourage everyone to go out and do the same. You meet amazing people, see amazing places... it is an experience you will never forget. Anyways what the heck am I talking about, I am just rambling on about nothing.

New Blog

After 7 years of using Xanga, I've decided to move on and make a new blog. Hopefully I keep this blog updated :)
